The SEA-ABT Mobility Database is a platform for students and industry/university staff from the beverage sector in Thailand and Europe.
The Mobility Database acts as a contact base to inform and facilitate the exchange of students and staff between the beverage sector and universities (internships, short term scientific missions (STSM)) internationally. In the Database, we distinguish between 3 types of mobility offers:
- STUDENT MOBILITY: Training of students in the food and beverage sector is essential to develop adequate and professional competences giving graduates the possibility to enter the job market with a good performance. Internationalization of student education is also necessary to improve students’ competences and an effective way to prepare graduates working in an international environment.
- TEACHER MOBILITY: Teacher mobility in industry for short term scientific missions (STSM) is important to enable teaching staff to understand and update them on industry needs in education and research, which at the same time may provide an opportunity for faster technology transfer, especially to SMEs. These STSMs are an important step further for the improvement of the industry-university collaboration.
- INDUSTRY STAFF MOBILITY: Short term scientific missions (STSM) of industry staff in universities is important to update the industry with new methods and technologies, which may provide an opportunity for faster technology transfer, especially to SMEs.
